Hey Sweetie,
Happy Tuesday!
I don't often yell here at AOM
But
Here's something I just need to get off my chest:
I've been watching the Olympics.
Sunday, I was watching,
And saw American skier Bode Miller
Win a bronze medal.
After the race he was interviewed
By an NBC reporter.
She battered him with questions
About the death of his brother
So much so
That he eventually fell to the ground in grief
I SCREAMED at my TV
STOP BADGERING THE POOR GUY!
It was so disgusting to do that to him
(in my view)
And he's not the only one they've done that to.
And he's not the only one they've done that to.
Why do they think watching people
Breakdown in grief
Is good TV
It is NOT
(in my view)
Why not celebrate that he won a medal
Making him the most decorated American skier
in the Winter Olympics
in the Winter Olympics
I know Bode took up for the reporter
Saying that she was just doing her job
But the exploitation of personal tragedy
But the exploitation of personal tragedy
Should not be a job for anyone to do
(in my view)
Anyway
For what good it does
For what good it does
I just had to voice my feelings about that.
